Tripoli, November 16, 2022 (LANA) - Libya and Tunisia agreed to open a maritime line to transport passengers and goods between Libyan and Tunisian ports, by the end of this year.

According to the spokesman of the Government of National Unity, 'Mohamed Hammouda,' the agreement came after bilateral meetings that included the Libyan ministers of transport and Tunisian transport today, Wednesday.

During the bilateral meeting, the two ministers agreed to open the new gates at the Ras Ajdir crossing by the end of November.
