The seasonal influenza vaccination campaign was launched on Monday, according to the National Center for Disease Control (NCDC).

The NCDC stated that the target groups for vaccination are health workers, pregnant women, and elderly people above 60 years, along with people who suffer from chronic illnesses.

The Executive Director of the Tripoli Vaccination Department, Sadiq Al-Bahil, stated that the BCG and seasonal influenza vaccinations are freely available to the target groups and have been distributed to all health facilities around the country.
