The Misrata Municipal Council held discussions with the Minister for Transport of the Government of National Accord (GNA), Milad Matouq, on measures to be taken to develop and restore Misrata International Airport.

The discussions included the preparation of a general plan for the airport and the establishment of an integrated passenger terminal.

This came during a meeting held at the Ministry’s headquarters in Tripoli in the presence of the Heads of the Airports Authority, the Civil Aviation Authority and the Director General of Misrata airport, according to a statement published by the Media Office of Misrata Municipal Council.
