Libya’s Central Bank: Revenue 16.70 billion dinars, expenditure 16.88 billion

The Libyan Central Bank said the country’s revenue in the first half of 2018 amounted to 16.70 billion dinars, while the expenditure reached 16.88 billion.

The Central Bank said in a statement last July that the Libyan oil revenue reached 15.60 billion dinars and the tax revenue was 477 million, while Customs Department’s revenue reached 114 million dinars in the first 6 months in 2018.

According to the Central Bank, the Libyan public expenditure amounted to 16.88 billion dinars, 11.20 of which were paid in salaries, 1.80 billion in government steering committees’ budget, 652 million in development, 3.23 billion dinars in subsidies.
