IOM calls on states to reopen embassies in Libya

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) has called on countries to reopen their diplomatic missions in the Libyan capital Tripoli.
'Countries must restore their embassies to work from the capital, Tripoli, after their security has been achieved, to work together to support the national reconciliation government and its intensive efforts to achieve security and stability and to work together,' IOM Director-General William Lacy Swing said in a speech at the illegal immigration conference held in the Italian capital to combat the disadvantages of illegal immigration .
